We couldn't resist celebrating the start of this year's F1 British Grand Prix week with a members event to find out more about one of the most inspiring stories in motorsport: the Brabham story.
Member David Brabham attended our launch event back in March to see what The Motorsport Collective was all about, so we are thrilled to have him as our guest speaker on Tuesday July 5th to share his story - past, present and future - with other members of the Collective.
"As a member of the Motorsport Collective, I’m honoured to be invited to speak at the Aynhoe Park event on the eve of the British GP. My father, Sir Jack Brabham, won the 1966 event at Brands Hatch en route to his historic third F1 title, when he became the only driver to take the crown in a car of his own name and manufacture.
It's therefore a fitting opportunity for me to share the astounding Brabham story, spanning more than 60 years, and how we are taking the iconic brand forward by developing a new business model for a race team and, potentially, motorsport.”
Motorsport broadcasting pro - and member of the Collective - Louise Goodman, will be on hand to interview David in the unique surroundings of Aynhoe Park: a private house nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, just a few miles from the Silverstone circuit.
Tickets to this event are free for members of The Motorsport Collective and invitations are sent privately to all members three weeks before the event.
